No clue what a peryton is (although perhaps I have more of a clue after seeing this), but I really like this image. Flails are such gruesome and scary weapons, and the use and positioning of one here adds clenching fear.
Anyhow, just wanted to add another "thanks for posting; it's cool" to the list.
