What's Up In Cobalt Reach

Ship just landed after narrowly escaping being incinerated half-way to port.
The girls decided to go to Cobalt Reach. So I'm deciding what exactly is in Cobalt Reach, and taking the group's temperature.

What I got so far...

(Of course, it's a plot she mainly created, so she doesn't have much trouble following it.)

I do believe that is the first labia I've seen on this blog. Huzzah for labia. Huzzah.
Also?
Huzzah for pteradactyls and unsettling shades of blue. Huzzah.

@Scrap- Well I must say that it was a wonderful way to start my day. Pretty pictures, pretty labia... mmmm.. blue berries.

You could consider including the orange juice that Mandy is drinking, somehow, into Cobalt Reach. The colour would be a nice contrast and also Orange Juice + Blueberries sounds like a thing to be inspired by.

TANGENT: What is the longest amount of time (in sessions, I guess) that your crew have spent in any one place? Place as defined by you, I suppose.

@Trent- That's a good question. I've wandered about that..

I think it would be cool, if Zak felt so inclined, to give a bulleted list/overview of how his campaign has flowed (with major events) since they first started playing before I Hit it With My Axe.

I think they spent like maybe 10 or more sessions in that evil ice monkey dungeon.

Cobalt reach is full of kobolds, obviously. Half the people I've played with pronounces it cobalts. So someone probably named it Kobold Reach, but whoever was writing the name down heard Cobalt Reach.

Does it say something about me that I was more interested in figuring out the parts used in the inquisitor conversion than in the labia?

They're actually cognate in real life.

"For example, 16th-century miners sometimes encountered what looked to be rich veins of copper or silver, but which, when smelted, proved to be little more than a pollutant and could even be poisonous.[95][96][97][98] These ores caused a burning sensation to those who handled them.[47] Miners tried to appease the kobolds with offerings of gold and silver and by insisting that fellow miners treat them respectfully.[14][99][100] Nevertheless, some stories claim that kobolds only returned such kindness with more poisonous ores.[14] Miners called these ores cobalt after the creatures from whom they were thought to come."

...it happens more as you get older. Sometimes you look at a young starlet and you just want to giver her a sandwich and a hug. And then you think to yourself WTF?

Oh! That's actually a long time. Cool.. I sort of had the impression that they ran across the countryside/ocean for the first half of every session, hah.

"Kobold" is also cognate with "goblin".

(See etymology)

Makes me wonder how German editions of D&D differentiate the two. I once knew that... While living in Germany (late 80s), I also once improvised a D&D game based on a 2d6 mechanic, which was likely the best D&D campaign I ever DM'd. But I digress.

A crew like this makes me wish for "I Hit It with my Axe II" :D
