The Nebulith is Coming

The LotFP-compatible Nebulith project is coming soon.
We are laying it out as we speak.

The bestiary part is done in the style of
an Edo-era book--thanks to Molly
of Fierce Ponies for making my hand-printed
pages cleaned-up and readable

This looks gorgeous.
I wonder why the karate master in the playtest picture looks like a bard.

"Eight miles high, and when you touch down ... You'll find that it's stranger than known."

Your art here is incredible and super intriguing. I am starting a new campaign in the next month or two and don't have much of a plan yet when the PCs escape from their necropolis.

Islands are nice little self-contained locations. Nebulith looks sorta odd-shaped, ha, as you probably know if I am reading the "scientific study" correctly as a map of some sort.

@matrox

thanks!

i tried to make it good and new

It looks absolutelly stunning. What is the target format (size) of the book? Imho it eould look great as a coffee table book, something oversize to appreciate your art

Zak Sabbath said...

@Krzysztof

Still deciding whether to go standard-LotFP size or extra big

Krzysztof Szmytkiewicz said...

@Zak For the sake of arts extra big might be the way to go :) Think about Helmut Newton's photobook Sumo. The largerst version was sold with its own bookstand :D

@Krzysztof

You've said that twice now, and the second time you said it with a smileyface.

My co-author and I are putting together an email chain to let people know when it is available, please email zakzsmith AT hawtmayle dawt calm if you want to be on the list

Re Karate master PC smacking a giant sword-tailed gecko - Oh I remember the palm heel strike you've drawn from karate back when 12 year old me was living the Go Kan Ryu life.

I hope this comes out soon.
