Click to enlarge and roll 2 separate d20s any time the party hunting Annihilus reaches any labelled section of the map. Results 1-10 indicate members of the warband (see above), results above 10 or repeated results indicate that number of terrified or enslaved inhabitants.
For each day Annihilus remains uncaptured, randomly generate another group of followers:
-If you have Realms of Chaos: Slaves to Darkness, use the retinue table
-If you do not, randomly roll any creature, then randomly generate the number of them that join the warband using that creatures' "# appearing" number.
-Roll d4, on a 4, the newly recruited creatures has been mutated

The Realms of Chaos books seem like such a fantastic resource. Been keeping watch for a decent price on a set for years now.
I would have never been able to come up with Lion-Wizard on Hypno-Poison-Horse by myself but now my life is richer for having him in it.
i like the horrible swords and how they were made - sound great but players dont touch them, mostly. He needs a gift of a cool chaos blade for doing something horrible
"hand centaurs"... my imagination thanks you!
The (free) Metamorphica (http://redboxvancouver.wordpress.com/2012/05/21/the-metamorphica-a-book-of-random-mutation-tables/) is very much worth checking out. While it doesn't have a fraction of the flavor of the Warhammer books, it's got an awful lot of the same content and then some. I really can't say enough nice things about it.
Kinda reminds me of the demons in Arduin Grimoire.
Last time I rolled up a warband my "champion" was a basic chaos dwarf with no legs... free chaos armour though, so I had that going for me.
My friend rolled a metal lizardman permanently on fire that would randomly split into fragments.
@Rushputin, cheers for posting up that link, just had a glance through it and it seems a wonderful resource.
