Starbox

Ran our first Warhammer40k: Dark Heresy session today with Mandy and Viv.

Here's a map of the system our unfortunate Mechanicus and Psyker found themselves marooned in, 40,000 light years from the Empress and Sector: Throne...(click to enlarge)
And yes, all the names mean what you think they mean.

So how much of the 40k fluff survived the transition into D&DWPS40K?

So is the Gigastructure a truly immense, star-dwarfing Source Wall scope thing as the diagram indicates?

Perhaps a silly question given what we've seen of your patchwork approach to game mechanics in the past, but how closely did you stick to the official Dark Heresy rules?

I first read the Red Moon as being called "Kara-Turok" and thought that was total genius!

Algol as part of an amalgamation of Thool and Carcosa? Hoho, the pastiche sitting with the giants that it idolizes.... ;)

The Empress- that's a good take on the 40k universe. I've been thinking of doing a dark space setting using Terminal Space or the upcoming X-plorers.
