Note on The Vampire 5e Story

In case you missed it, I asked readers to vote on whether they wanted to hear the whole story on Vampire 5e--I set the threshold at 100 votes and reached it, so I will be getting to work on that, collecting all the receipts etc.

My plan is to have it up in early May, just so you know.

Here's a foldy map I drew:

  1. I love the other map? To the side of this continent map, I see what looks like creatures, a sea, and a couple pentagrams.
Have you ever made your own DM screen? Are there any for a particular system you have used?
Curious as to how you would approach one, they seem like a way to contain information and art, and you are especially good at making those mesh.
In some ways, I guess Vornheim made a DM screen unessescary because of how much info was included and organized, but maybe you still would need to hide what you roll on the drop tables and things...

  2. Now that I think of it, the maps of the Cube have to be more accurate than maps of Earth, for obvious reasons. Maps of the dungeons, though, can get really freaky.

  3. Excellent! I see maybe "Sulfer Caves" and "Ice Cotrel'er" an "Eittet Coast" next to possibly "River Red" above the "Aerieratier Teras"??????????
Ha, also my question is answered that Cube World spins like when you spin a sixer on the table. (Do folks still spin their dice, that used to be quite a thing. Don't forget to try a 4-sider - it can be done!)
I believe I read ways back Zak rolls dice in the open and doesn't use a screen.

  4. Oooh! The Peacock Isles! Sounds like a lovely place. And possibly terrifying if I remember my medusa / peacock symbiosis. Lots of exquisite statuary but not a vanity mirror to be found.

  6. Do you use miniatures for your players? You seem to me like a "theatre of the mind" kinda guy. I know you've played in games that use terrain etc.
