How awesome is James over at The Underdark Gazette?
This awesome:
James--question for you... How much of a pain in the ass would it be to throw together (or just help throw together) a list of all the free adventure modules that've been published over the last few years? Not every single product--full games and sourcebooks and rules can be left out, as well as things published as part of Fight On or Knockspell or Land of Nod--just the heavier-duty products. Lemme know

Sure. Give me a few days to put it together and I'll send a list of the ones I know of and whatever else I can dig up.
Take care,
James

Hi Zak,
Here you go! I didn't include setting supplements, but if you want those, or anything else, let me know. It's all fresh in my mind at the moment, so I could gather it together, pretty quick.
Take care,
James

Amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow. I have to admit I'm a tad intimidated by the sheer awesomeness of the list;) Thanks James! Thanks Zak for bugging James!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the list. Frank Gorshin makes for one scary-ass proctologist!
ReplyDeleteThanks for including Nashka's Lair & Temple of the Ghoul in the list!
ReplyDeleteThere are truly some awesome free stuff out there. I have over 27 gigs of saved material (pdfs, saved web pages, etc.) of material--that's total (rules, settings, maps, geomorphs, etc.), not just modules.
For example, here are four modules at Forever Free Games:
http://www.foreverfreegames.org/about.html
(I have no connection with the blog--it's just sitting in my bookmark menu).
I always thought Gorshin's costume looked a little *too* tight.
ReplyDelete"Riddle me this, Batman: WHAT RELIGION AM I?"
(Not mine, but still funny.)
Thanks for that FFG link Matthew!
ReplyDeleteGo to Foreverfreegames.org I have 4 mod's for free as well. Two 3.5 and two for 1st edtion.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is just cool. And big thanks to all the folks who put in all that work.
ReplyDeleteThere are several free modules at . . . and the sky full of dust:
ReplyDeleteThe Three-Fold Toad.pdf
They Came from the Stars.pdf
Poor Knight's Tomb.pdf
And there is a three-part adventure path, Village, Keep, & Dungeon; here are links to the pdfs in that post:
Jainesville.pdf
The Baron's Keep.pdf
The Temple.pdf
Appendix with NPCs.pdf
He's also got several modules posted as blog entries, which you can find as a list, here:

I have a few at WWW.digitalorc.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the one page dungeons either.

Hi, please please PLEASE update your links to the Delver's Dungeon Modules! Those links above take you to an old and outdated page. The links below are the correct ones.

If you're talking about OD&D only I don't know anything new, but there's always the old 3.5 page over at Wizards: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/oa/20030530b&page=1
ReplyDeleteWhich also links back to all the other old 3.5 stuff they keep around for the people willing to poke around in their incredibly poorly laid out archives. I think there's another page in there, somewhere, with more converted stuff, but I'm not sure where it is if it still exists. The only items I'm seeing from that collection are Tomb of Horrors and WHite Plume Mountain.
Awesome, great stuff!!
