My First Dungeon Kit Plus Mystery Glyphs

Mandy's run a few adventures she made up, but no dungeons. I made Mandy a little My First Dungeon Kit. So she can fill it in, change it around as she likes, run people through it, realize it's easy and then make her own. Not the world's most ambitious dungeon, but there's enough there for the PCs to have lots of options about what to do and have some fun before getting to the major encounters and/or treasure. Click to enlarge the starter dungeon.

The thing underneath is just something I'm drawing. You can use it as mysterious glyphs or as the plan of an ancient city, or both. Whatever.

    I can't wait to hear how that goes. I've been wanting to run/play in a gigacrawler game since we all started creating stuff for it, but sadly I doubt I ever will.

    That second image reminds me of Undermountain.

    Or maybe it could be used as a Rorschach test to see what kind of dungeon people see ("- What kind of dungeon does this blob look like to you, Mr Johnson? - A naked woman.")

    Wait, people still use Google Wave?

    I always wonder about dungeon pacing. I normally find I have to make my dungeons way way way smaller, since it takes so long to go through a single room. Which probably says something about how I run a game?

    I've often found dungeons to be over rated. Yes, "dungeons" is in the title, but not every god damned adventure has to have a fucking dragon, why then does every fucking adventure have to have some dank underground piss hole of a dungeon? (hrmph)

    I'm DMing our 9th Giga session tonight!
    We run a forum with all of our extras and stuff. But we've been houseruling like mother fuckers, so I don't know how well it works for your game. Theres at least 1,000 posts on there by now.
