It had to be right? With a title like Fish Fuckers and it being April Fools, it had to be. What made me purchase it instantly though was the fact that it was actually real. It wasn't just a prank. James Raggi is selling a book named Fish Fuckers on April Fools and its real! Another publisher might pull something like this as a nothing more than a joke. But Raggi went all the way. And that's why I bought it instantly.Chris Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07193887974132021361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2638993969706011706.post-4489748630128444222018-04-02T16:55:45.960-07:002018-04-02T16:55:45.960-07:00Hell yes;

Because most of the mainstream field was boring and artless and railroad filled and not any fucking fun & has *no artistic or creative vision*. And disproportionately reviews seem to conflate “portraying a world that is horrible” with “saying a horrible world is a good thing” or “these horrible things are what the author actually believes”.

Also a focus on usually 2-3 sentences about sexual violence as if the center to the entire book is 50 words on one page. [obviously Carcosa has a pretty strong emphasis on ritual sacrifice to cast magic but I don’t think it’s simply to *be offensive* given it has an interior logic]

Speaking of terrible reviewing practices: almost done with a goofus and gallant Hot Takes review of Frostbitten & Mutilated FM Geisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06185541338779784634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2638993969706011706.post-29731133148174946792018-04-02T14:43:08.267-07:002018-04-02T14:43:08.267-07:00Fucking fish isn't my kink, but on a weekend w...Fucking fish isn't my kink, but on a weekend where EN World were firing out click-bait like "Do We Still Need "Race" in D&D?" I take a long hard look at the scene and think to myself "Illustrated guide to piscine love it is then..." Orderd a copy of Frostbitten and Mutilated too. Well someone has to.foreshamehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05861824286390603313noreply@blogger.com
