I'd love to run into them around Seattle sometime but I think I work in the wrong area...<br /><br />As for Ms. Sheldon, I read several of the G+ threads after the whole public post thing a few weeks ago. She is pretty much a perfect model of the Drama Club; thin skinned, opinionated, blocks anyone who disagrees, and uses her G+ as a support group and reinforcer of her behaviors. Leave them in their little blocked G+ circles to grouse about things, but definitely jump on any public attempts at libel.<br /><br />Ugh, I knew FASA of old was an unscruplous company, but knowing the current Shadowrun is run by even worse people is good to know. To me, the cost of entry is way, way to high. But, and this is the important thing, none of the employees of MCG have yet to show up at my house (or work), put a gun to my head and force me to buy it.<br /><br />It looks real interesting, and the marketing campaign (and kickstarter) also looks interesting. Seems really different from my (admittedly limited) experience, and different is always good, because things that are different from what is out there will drive creativity.<br /><br />Somewhere, there is a 16 year old who is going to play in the game on Invisible Sun that her older brother picked up, and is going to go on to develop a completely original and mind-blowing tabletop RPG when she hits 30.
